Please come in and look at our titles regarding African Americans and African American History.
We have a wide selection from biographies on Rosa Parks, Coretta Scott King, Toni Morrison and George Washington Carver to poetry to books on the civil rights movement. Selected titles can be found on the third shelf underneath where the new books are located. There are also plenty of titles in the collection, just ask a member of the youth services staff to assist you and we will do our very best to help you find exactly what you need!
While it is wonderful to recognize this special month remember that any time of year is a good time to learn about our country's varied, special and awesome history!
March is Women's History Month, so keep on the look out for a display of books next month!
